The Blossom Supportive Services Program at I AM VOICES INC. is designed to empower survivors of societal violence by providing a comprehensive suite of support services. With the invaluable assistance of our community partners, we aim to facilitate healing, resilience, and independence for every woman we serve.

Our Services:

Information and Referrals: We connect survivors with vital community resources tailored to their unique needs, ensuring they have access to the information necessary for informed decision-making.
Advocacy: Our dedicated advocates work alongside survivors to help them navigate legal systems, access services, and ensure their voices are heard, fostering empowerment and agency.
Individual and Group Therapy: We offer both one-on-one counseling and supportive group therapy sessions led by trained mental health professionals who specialize in trauma-informed care.
Support: Our program provides emotional and practical support, helping survivors build resilience and regain a sense of control over their lives.
Job Placement: We assist survivors in securing meaningful employment through job training programs, resume-building workshops, and connections to local employers.
Housing and Transportation Support: We offer resources to help survivors find safe and stable housing, as well as transportation assistance to ensure they can access essential services.
Case Management: Our case managers provide personalized support, guiding survivors through their healing journey and connecting them with resources that promote long-term well-being.

At I AM VOICES INC., we prioritize confidentiality and respect for every individual. All services provided through the Blossom Supportive Services Program are completely free of charge, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder access to essential support.

We work directly with survivors to help them find community resources, medical services, and court support, fostering a holistic approach to healing. Our mission is to create a compassionate and supportive environment where women can blossom into their full potential.

Empowerment and Education

We ensure survivors understand their rights and options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their healing journey. Additionally, we provide life skills training, including budgeting, time management, and decision-making, to help survivors regain independence and build a stable future.

Social and Emotional Support

Our trained counselors and licensed therapists provide trauma-informed one-on-one support to survivors. We also offer Peer-to-Peer Support Groups for women aged 18 and older, creating a safe space for survivors to share their experiences, find solidarity, and heal together. Our Pen Pal program helps connect survivors with a supportive community, offering ongoing encouragement.

Safety and Stabilization

We assist survivors in creating personalized safety plans to ensure their protection and well-being. We also offer transitional housing for survivors in need of a stable and secure living environment.

Basic Needs Assistance

We provide essential resources such as monthly hygiene/toiletry supplies, utility support, and food security services to ensure survivors’ basic needs are met so they can focus on their healing without the added stress of financial strain.

Emergency and Relocation Services

In cases of immediate need, we offer relocation assistance, gas vouchers, and hotel accommodations to support survivors during critical times and ensure their safety and security.

Specialized Support for Survivors

Our services are available to both primary and secondary survivors of sexual violence, including rape, incest, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and sexual harassment. Survivors are supported by licensed therapists trained in trauma treatment, ensuring that they receive care that is sensitive, effective, and healing.

Goal-Setting and Case Planning

We work closely with survivors to develop personalized care plans, helping them set achievable goals and provide interventions to meet their unique needs. This wrap-around support is integral to each survivor’s recovery and success.

Employment and Financial Support

Our life skills and employment readiness programs provide survivors with the tools and resources to re-enter the workforce. This includes resume building, job searching, interview coaching, and financial planning services to support long-term independence and stability.

Holistic Healing Services

We provide ongoing emotional support and trauma-informed therapy to ensure survivors have the care they need throughout their healing journey. We believe in a holistic approach that addresses the emotional, psychological, and practical needs of each survivor.
