We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a powerful new initiative at I AM VOICES, and we want YOU to be a part of it! We’re forming a Survivor Advisory Youth Committee and seeking 5 passionate young women who are ready to advocate for change, amplify their voices, and make a lasting impact.
Who Can Apply?We’re looking for young women between 18-24 who have experienced sexual violence—including rape, sexual assault, or sex trafficking. This is your chance to share your story, support others, and drive meaningful change.
What’s Involved?As a member of the Survivor Advisory Youth Committee, you’ll:
- Shape programs that support survivors of sexual violence.
- Collaborate with like-minded individuals to brainstorm, plan, and execute youth-focused initiatives.

Attend key meetings, including Council and Task Force meetings, plus radio shows and public news appearances.
This is a paid opportunity requiring 10 hours per month, with an additional 10 hours for training and development before the program begins.
- Advocacy: Be a voice for change and stand up for the needs of survivors.
- Leadership Skills: Develop your program planning, public speaking, and community engagement expertise.
- Networking: Connect with community partners and expand your career opportunities.
- Support: Work in a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment with others who share your passion.
