Nyja Manigault is a native of Moncks Corner, SC, and a proud graduate of Lander University, where she earned her degree in Sociology with a concentration in Strategic Planning. She is a highly skilled and accomplished program management professional with more than a decade of experience across nonprofit, healthcare, and higher education sectors.
With a strong foundation in organizational leadership and stakeholder engagement, Nyja has built a reputation for successfully managing high-impact initiatives, complex programs, and large-scale events that drive meaningful results and advance organizational goals.
She currently works as the Volunteer and Strategic Engagement Coordinator for the MUSC Foundation, where she specializes in board engagement and strengthening connections that support the organization’s mission.
Beyond her professional work, Nyja is an active and engaged community leader who is passionate about service and development. She has completed several distinguished leadership programs, including Leadership Greenwood through the Greenwood SC Chamber of Commerce, the David J. and Kathy Cole BRIGHT Leadership Program, and the Association of Governing Boards Certificate Program.
Throughout her career, she has also served in leadership roles such as Vice Chair of the PTA for First Steps North Charleston (2019) and Vice-Chair of Staff Congress for the MUSC College of Health Professions (2021). She currently contributes her time as an ambassador for Project IMPACT and serves on the Celebration Committee and AIME (Admins Initiating a Mentality of Excellence) at MUSC.
Outside of her professional and community commitments, Nyja enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, playing tennis, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. Her passion for building meaningful connections and creating impactful experiences carries over into every aspect of her life.
