Red Rose Housing
Red Rose provides transitional housing and individualized case management for young adult survivors ages 18–26.
Participants are often working to establish or reestablish themselves as young adults. Their goals may include completing high school or earning a GED, entering college or workforce training, securing employment, establishing healthcare relationships, developing financial and independent-living skills, and navigating relationships with family members, friends, and other trusted supports.
The Red Rose pathway should emphasize education, early career development, healthy relationships, independent-adulthood skills, and the creation of a stable support system.
Before I found this program, I was living on the streets. I had lost everything, and I didn’t believe I’d ever be able to make a fresh start. The case management support was life-changing. My caseworker helped me secure housing and provided me with the resources I needed to regain my confidence. Therapy sessions helped me heal from the trauma I had carried for years, and now I feel strong enough to start over. I’m starting my own business and looking forward to the future.
