Yellow Sunflower Housing

Yellow Sunflower provides transitional housing and individualized case management for adult survivors age 27 and older.

Some participants may already have employment, education, children, or other established responsibilities. Their goals may include pursuing a better career path, entering a trade or degree program, strengthening financial stability, establishing consistent healthcare, securing permanent housing, rebuilding healthy support systems, and becoming more connected to the community.

Participants may also become involved in outreach, advocacy, or leadership development and potentially prepare for leadership opportunities within I AM VOICES.

Leaving an abusive situation was terrifying, but I didn’t have to do it alone. My case manager helped me navigate all the paperwork, find safe housing, and provide emotional support every step of the way. The therapy sessions helped me work through my trauma and gain back my sense of self-worth.

I also took part in the financial literacy program, which helped me understand how to budget and plan for the future. I now feel empowered and in control of my life.
