Veronica L. Truesdale is an accomplished senior leader, business owner, and financial professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, financial analysis, resource management, and organizational governance. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Charleston Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University.
Professionally, Veronica serves as a Human Resources Director with the Department of the Navy, where she provides executive-level strategic guidance, leads complex organizational initiatives, oversees regulatory compliance, and uses data and analytics to support sound decision-making across a large and diverse workforce.
Veronica is also the founder and owner of Truesdale Tax Solutions, a tax preparation and advisory firm serving individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Through her firm, she provides tax preparation, tax planning and advisory services, compliance support, and financial education, with an emphasis on helping clients understand the financial and tax implications of their decisions.
Her financial experience also includes budget development and oversight, financial reporting, cost analysis, resource planning, program financial management, and evaluating financial data to support organizational decisions. Veronica brings a servant-leadership approach to board service and believes strong organizations require both a meaningful mission and a strong foundation of financial stewardship, accountability, compliance, and responsible governance.
I serve on the board because I want to contribute in a meaningful way beyond simply supporting the organization from the outside. Board service gives me an opportunity to bring my professional experience, leadership, and financial knowledge to help strengthen an organization doing important work.
I also believe that a strong mission needs a strong foundation. I want to be part of helping I AM VOICES grow responsibly, remain accountable, and make sound decisions so that it can continue serving the community for years to come.
